Review: Books With Holes

I remember, as a child, the total allure of a Big Book. They may appear not so large to us now, but when you're teensy, big books are like carpets that cover an entire floor in the imagination. Kids can almost dive into the pages, and with added features like cut out holes - well... this is just too much fun.

Child's Play do these books so so well - using retro artwork, really quality paper and production, lucid colour and luscious tales and fables and nursery rhymes that must remain central to every childhood.

Each page is a new surprise with peep holes revealing what new character or story component waits on the other side.

This range of Big Books is quite enormous and includes Ten Little Monkeys, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Five Little Ducks, I am the Music Man, Cows in the Kitchen, Dry Bones, The Wheels on the Bus, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and more.

Lovely for littlies.
